Nissan has decided to cease production of the Note compact MPV next year. According to Autocar, the decision was made due to the start of sales in March 2017 Micra hatchback new generation. That is why the Japanese brand plans to avoid internal competition. The main competitors are called Micra, Ford Fiesta , Renault Clio and Volkswagen Polo.

New Micra is developed on the basis of the concept of Sway. From the prototype of the future hatchback has inherited some design elements. The novelty is built on Renault-Nissan platform, called CMF. For the hatchback available in three – and four-cylinder petrol engines from 0.9 to 1.6 liter and liter diesel. In addition to a 6-speed “mechanics”, the new Micra has got a CVT.

Recall, Nissan Micra appeared on the world market in 2010. In 2013, the company introduced an updated version of the car. The car went on sale with a petrol engine capacity of 1.2 liters capacity of 80 and 98 horsepower.
