Samsung Electronics has decided to increase the size of the display from his sleduushego flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S8 to attract fans of the series phablet Note, disappointed in the Galaxy Note 7. This was reported by the Korean edition of the Investor, citing a local news resource.
According to the source, Samsung Galaxy S8 will be available in two versions — with a display diagonal of 5.7 inch and 6.2 inch. For comparison, the current generation of Galaxy S7 has a 5.1-inch display, and Galaxy S7 Edge 5.7 — inch. The total size of the smartphone will not change due to edge-to-edge screen and eliminate the home button at the bottom.
As expected, the generation of flagship S8 will be presented only variations with a curved display and flat screen will go into oblivion. The older version will likely change the name from Edge to Plus.
