First look at the iris scanner of Android-smartphone Samsung Galaxy Note 7 – Overclockers.ru

During the three weeks before the official announcement, scheduled for August 2, the new smartphone Samsung Galaxy Note 7 passed the certification of the FCC (Federal Communications Commission, or FCC). To be precise, the FCC certificate, six versions of the new items with model numbers SM-N930V (local operator Verizon), SM-N930A (for the operator AT & amp; T), SM-N930P (for Sprint operator), SM-N930T (Operator T-Mobile), SM-N930R4 (for other US mobile operators) and SM-N930W8 (for Canada). All these models are based on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chip with quad-core processor and graphics Kryo Adreno 530, whereas in most other markets will be presented version of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 to the processor Exynos 8893. According to recent reports, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will get bent around the edges of Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560h1440 points, 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory, a slot for MicroSD memory cards, fingerprint scanner, a 12-megapixel main camera with an optical system image stabilization and battery at 3600 mAh or 4000. Galaxy Note 7 will receive a body that will be protected from dust and moisture under the standard IP68.


 

 

One of the most interesting features of the successor to the Galaxy Note 5 will be the iris scanner, which is able to “learn” user faster than the fingerprint scanner. And the published edition of SamMobile photos clearly demonstrate how the iris recognition system works on the Galaxy Note 7.

 


 

The photo shows that the iris scan the user must keep the smartphone at arm’s length (25-30 cm from the face), and his eyes should be level with the two circles that appear on the screen.
