Hollywood film adaptation of Death Note will receive a rating of R – Kanobu (Register)

I already wrote about the Hollywood adaptation of the brilliant manga Death Note with Nate Wolfe as Light Yagami. The film puts Adam Wingard, director of fairly good horror “Guest” and “You end!».

At the conference in 2016 DICE representative site Collider spoke with film producer Roy Lee. According to Li, Wingard waiting for “the green light” to shoot the movie, but the actors have already been identified. Filming should begin in 2016. Lee said that the film adaptation will be designed for adults:

This is exactly the film for an adult audience. There is no chance that the rating will be lower R

. <-! -> <-! -> <-! -> <-! -> <-! -> <-! ->

The general tone of the film Lee describes as “one of the first adaptations of manga, which will be very realistic, but it must contain fantastic elements»

.

the funny thing here is that the original manga published in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, designed for boys and adolescents 8-18 years of age. There are no explicit scenes of violence and sex, as a way of dealing with heroes and villains selected the most bloodless: heart attack.

Of course, some characters fall into trucks and are suffering similar troubles, but in comics all kept on a tight plot and psychology of the characters. So this is just the adaptation of the manga, which the R rating completely useless.
