Earlier, Samsung had warned about the loss of more than 5 billion in operating income because of the Galaxy Note 7 review for 9-month period ending in March 2017.
Production and sales of Galaxy Note 7 discontinued in October 2016 after a series of incidents of spontaneous combustion devices. Samsung has not yet named an official cause of the explosion of their tubes and will do it on January 23.
According to a statement by Samsung, at the moment, users of Galaxy Note 7 has returned 96% of all mobile phones. The return of the remaining 4% of the devices planned in the coming weeks.
