Samsung has launched a global update their smartphones to Android Lollipop. Galaxy S5 recently started to get the latest firmware based on Android 5.0. Galaxy Note 4 (review), another flagship of the South Korean company, and its modification Galaxy Note Edge will receive the coveted updated only at the beginning of next year, probably in February. Apparently, the delay is due to Samsung’s decision to skip the release Android 5.0 for smartphones and release of firmware based on more urgent Android 5.0.1.
