Samsung Galaxy Note will receive a 6 port USB Type-C – Ferra

The profile resource SamMobile shared another piece of information about the upcoming smartphone Samsung Galaxy Note 6, which has not yet been officially presented. Thus, the source said he could confirm the emergence of a universal device port USB Type-C instead of the micro-USB. However, it is not clear whether he will support USB 3.1 or an earlier standard.

Using a USB Type-C in the Galaxy Note 6 may indicate that Samsung need to release a new virtual reality helmet simultaneously with PHABLET . In the current version of the Gear VR provided microUSB support, so it is natural to assume second-generation output with USB Type-C.

Let’s remind, according to earlier leaks, Samsung Galaxy Note 6 uses a 5.8-inch display with a resolution of Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels), but so far the company has not decided whether it will be an ordinary flat screen or curved at the edges. The device will receive an impressive 4000 mAh battery. In addition, the smartphone will get 6 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal flash memory with the ability to use microSD memory cards. The main camera does not change the hardware, but the software is updated. It is noted that the test prototype work on the basis of processor Exynos 8890 and the Snapdragon 823, running Android N operating system.

The debut of Samsung Galaxy Note 6 can be held in July 2016. Previously also reported protection against water and dust to standard IP68, a first for the series Galaxy Note, and the possible presence of iris scanner.
