Meizu updated Phablet m1 note Snapdragon chipset 615 – Ferra

In addition to the announcement of the new smartphone Meizu m1, a Chinese manufacturer also presented an updated version of its bigger brother – m1 note. As specified, the modification of new items for the Chinese mobile operator China Telecom will not be equipped with the usual chip Mediatek MT6752, and more advanced Snapdragon 615.


This chipset from Qualcomm US has a 64-bit architecture and is equipped with 8 cores, 4 of which are characterized by a clock frequency of 1.7 GHz, and four – 1.0 GHz. Responsible for the graphics adapter Adreno 405. The other characteristics remain the same.

Recall that m1 note boasts a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1080p, 2 GB of RAM, internal storage of 16 or 32 GB, and and a pair of cameras: 13 megapixel front and 5 MP rear. Version of the device with a Snapdragon chipset 615 worth 100 yuan more expensive version with a chip from Mediatek. Thus, the model with 16 GB of memory will cost 1,099 yuan (about US $ 176), a model with 32 GB of memory – 1 299 yuan (about $ 208).
