In Galaxy Note 4 still has a 64-bit processor – News Hi-Tech

As we know, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 installed chipset Exynos 5433, but until now it was not clear on what it is based architecture: 32-bit or 64-bit. Official information about it is not, however, found out AnandTech, the processor is still 64-bit. This is evidenced by the source code of the firmware smartphone.

In the Exynos 5433 integrates eight 64-bit cores: four core Cortex-A57 and four Cortex-A53. The processor operates in big.LITTLE, ie uses for neresursoemkih weak core tasks, and when you need high performance – powerful.

The question is why Samsung is not positioning Galaxy Note 4 as its first smartphone with a 64-bit processor. The fact that the Exynos 5433 is not able to operate in AArch64 due to lack of the necessary drivers. By its parameters Exynos 5433 is almost identical processor Exynos 5430, which used a 32-nuclear core Cortex-A15 and Cortex-A7.
